The Wrangler is actually available in two different configurations. You can get this SUV with either 2 doors or 4 doors. The 2-door model is commonly referred to as just the Wrangler whereas the 4-door model is the Wrangler Unlimited. All trim levels are available with either configuration. Though the 2-door version still seats four passengers, the Unlimited can actually seat five.
The Wrangler is quite famous for having removable doors, a fold-down front windshield, and even a removable top, but many don’t know that this is actually a standard feature. The top comes in a few varieties with a soft top, a premium soft top, a hardtop, and a body-colored hardtop. Both hardtops are still removable and only require minimal tooling.
Under the hood, you get the aforementioned 3.6-liter V6 as your standard engine option. It provides 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The Wrangler also has a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine option that delivers 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Lastly, and perhaps most interestingly, the Wrangler is also available with a 3.0-liter V6 EcoDiesel that provides 260 horsepower and an astounding 442 pound-feet of torque.
For 2020, the Wrangler has two new special edition options available with the Willys and the Black & Tan trims. Other trims include the Sport, Sport S, Sport Altitude, Sahara, Sahara Altitude, and the Rubicon.
