America’s most affordable midsize crossover makes its grand return for the 2020 model year. It’s still the only crossover in its segment to offer standard three-row, seven-passenger seating. Throw in a load of available features, and it’s clear why the 2020 Dodge Journey is a great value.
The look of the 2020 Journey hasn’t changed much over the years, and if you ask us, that’s a good thing. The lines are still sculpted, clean and aggressive. The front fascia carries the iconic Dodge look, while bold touches include LED taillights that Dodge has dubbed the “ring of fire.”

For 2020, several changes have been implemented on the Dodge Journey. The lineup has been simplified to just two models, known as the Journey SE Value and Journey Crossroad. Both feature a standard 2.4-liter 16-valve DOHC four-cylinder engine that pumps out a full 172 horsepower and 165 lb.-ft. of torque.
Each trim has the option of an available package known simply as “Popular Entertainment Group.” This compilation bundles many of the most beloved Journey features together into one simple package. The features included differ depending on which 2020 Journey trim the package is applied to.
Step inside the 2020 Dodge Journey, and you’ll likely first be swept away by the available Uconnect 8.4-inch infotainment system; this screen is the largest in the class. By fronting the vehicle’s command center, you’ll get the sensation that the entire world is at your fingertips. The system also allows users to easily connect and control personal devices through the intuitive and customizable set-up.
Comfort also gets a healthy dose of customization options. The 2020 Dodge Journey comes with standard fold-flat second- and third-row seating. There’s available second row in-floor storage, which further accentuates the vehicle’s emphasis on utility. Oh, and did we mention the more than 40 available safety and security features? For a sample, enjoy the standard Rear Park Assist on both models.
