How Do the 2020 Dodge Durango and 2020 Chevrolet Traverse Compare?

SUVs are the perfect match for families of any size. The 2020 Dodge Durango offers to seat five or seven passengers depending on trim level and with 50 different seating configurations, this Dodge SUV can be customized to fit the needs of any driver.

Three-row 2020 Durango models offer 17.2 cubic feet of standard cargo space behind the third row of seats and 47.7 cubic feet of space when the third row is folded down. When drivers need to maximize their cargo capacity they can fold down both rear rows of seats to open the cargo area to a maximum size of 84.5 cubic feet. The 2020 Traverse offers a comparable amount of cargo space but falls short in terms of towing power. With the 2020 Durango drivers can tow up to 8,700 pounds of cargo, while the Traverse is limited to just 5,000 pounds.

The 2020 Dodge Durango pumps out incredible power on the road, no matter which engine option powers the model. The standard 3.6-liter V6 engine generates 295 horsepower while the 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engine puts out 360 horsepower. For optimal power production, the 2020 Durango can be equipped with a power-packed 6.4-liter Hemi® V8 engine. This V8 engine generates 476 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque on the road and can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds. The competing 2020 Traverse offers just one engine option in its lineup, a 310-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine.
