A Closer Look at the 2019 Jeep Wrangler Trims

It can be tough to choose just one model of 2019 Jeep Wrangler. They’re all so darn appealing. But as most of us don’t have quite enough cash to buy every Jeep Wrangler in existence, a decision has to be made. So let’s get to work on making the best possible one.

The first thing we recommend doing is deciding if you need two or four doors. If you’re going to be transporting rear passengers on a common basis, we recommend the four; along with convenience, this set-up adds more room back there. For others, however, the cost-savings of a two-door Wrangler outweigh the benefits of four.

Four doors also result in more cargo room: the Wrangler Unlimited boasts a full 32 cubic feet of space with the back seats up and 72 with them lowered. The two-door provides 13 cubic feet with the seats up and 37 with them down.

The next thing to consider is how much serious off-roading you’re going to be engaging in. Every trim does great in this area, but the Sahara and above trims take things to a whole new level. On the other hand, the Sport S has a lot of great technology, still has great off-road ability, and is more wallet-friendly.

Two Capable Engines

No matter which trim you get, the 2019 Jeep Wrangler offers two great engine options. The base offering is an able 285-horsepower V6, providing ample power and capability. On top of that, there’s the optional 270-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder, which boasts even quicker acceleration and extreme responsiveness.
